Volunteer Opportunities at Foodshare
If you're looking to gain work experience or lend a helping hand in your community, many of Foodshare's programs offer opportunities to volunteers and practicum students on a regular basis. We currently have the following ongoing volunteer opportunities available:
Good Food Box volunteers to help with the packing and distribution of boxes.
The Glean Team volunteer gleaners and gleanees (get paid in fruit and veggies!)
Growin on up! volunteer
cooks and program assistants to help with cooking sessions.
Scratch volunteer cooks and program assistants to help with cooking sessions.
Kids in the Kitchen volunteer cooks and program assistants to help with cooking sessions.
Summer Lunch Munch volunteer cooks and program assistants to help prepare, pack, and distribute lunches.
